The Queen has been in the news a lot this month after having to cancel her trip to Northern Ireland which was followed by her first stay in hospital in eight years.
And although she is still undertaking light duties, it's been reported the monarch is “knackered” and has “given up lunchtime gin and evening martini” on medical advice.
Earlier this month Queen Elizabeth was told to 'cut back' on martinis by doctors but now a source has told The Sunday Times that the 95 year old is “knackered” and that her private programme has been as busy as her public engagements in the last month with “a constant flow of lunches and dinners with family and friends, because the Queen does not want to dine alone”.
