Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; born 21 April 1926) is Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms. Elizabeth was born in London, the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York, later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and she was educated privately at home. Her father ascended the throne on the abdication of his brother King Edward VIII in 1936, from which time she was the heir presumptive. She began to undertake public duties during the Second World War, serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service. In 1947, she married Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, a former prince of Greece and Denmark, with whom she has four children: Charles, Prince of Wales; Anne, Princess Royal; Prince Andrew, Duke of York; and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

Kirstie Allsopp has been "fretting" over Prince George's "future" as monarch amid the controversial proposed and reported Clarence House redundancies.Last month it was reported that King Charles' former staff were given notice of the threat of redundancy last month - which has now led to Kirstie fretting over the future of Prince George.After the sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II - one month ago today on September 8 - it was reported that Clarence House staff were given letters about potential redundancies ahead of Her Majesty's funeral.READ NEXT: Kirstie Allsopp takes savage swipe at 'queue jumpers' after Holly and Phil backlashAt the time, the Location Location Location star took to Twitter to air her views.She penned: "Supposedly it’s totally wrong for Clarence House to send letters saying 'regretfully there will be some redundancies but we’ll do all we can to help' before the funeral."But it’s OK to have a go at the actual person that has lost his actual Mum for doing so.
