Her Majesty The Queen last month has been released. The new image features King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate Middleton.
It was snapped at Buckingham Palace on September 18, just 10 days after the death of the Queen (September 8) – just one day before the official state funeral.READ MORE: Princess Charlotte 'knows she is The Spare – just like Prince Harry' claims Royal expertThe picture sees all of them wearing black, as it was taking during the period of Royal mourning.Charles, 73, is standing with his left hand held at the top of his pocket, while his right arm is gently tucked around Camilla’s waist, and William, 40, is standing in between his dad and wife as all the family group looks straight at the camera and smiles.The photograph was taken before Charles and Camilla hosted a Buckingham Palace reception for world leaders on the eve of the Queen’s funeral.
The image does not, however, feature any King Charles' other son Prince Harry, wife Meghan Markle or any of his grandchildren, despite them all being near Buckingham Palace when the photograph was taken.
