Kim Jong-un has launched a crackdown on his own military and is calling for 'more control and discipline' within the ranks. The North Korean despot led a meeting of the Central Military Commission in the secretive state on Thursday, according to state media KCNA.
In that meeting he called for tighter control and greater discipline within the regime's military forces. Kim reportedly addressed a series of problems concerning political activities as well as discipline among military officials, and called for tougher rules to control such matters.
The dictator said the establishment of revolutionary discipline within the military would decide the survival of the army and the success or failure of its activities, KCNA said.
