Motherwell were handed a 3-0 walkover in their postponed game. The Ayrshire outfit were unable to fulfil the fixture after their entire first team squad was forced to isolate after a coronavirus outbreak.
On Friday the governing body announced that Stephen Robinson's side would be given a 3-0 walkover, with the Rugby Park club also hit with a £40,000 suspended fine.
The SPFL found that they had failed to ensure adequate social distancing on the team bus, as well as during a pre-match meal at the Hilton hotel in Glasgow.
Kilmarnock immediately announced that they would consider their legal options, and they've hit back at the governing body for its decision.
