Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier has admitted he would love to play in the Premier League again before hanging up his boots, amid interest from Manchester United.
While United enjoyed a fruitful summer in which they signed Tom Heaton, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo, they didn't manage to strengthen every position they wanted to.
Defensive-midfield remains a big problem and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also wanted to recruit a new right-back to give Aaron Wan-Bissaka some serious competition, with Trippier being the top target.
MEN Sport reported that the right-back was keen on a return to Manchester with his boyhood club United and had arranged for his family to relocate to England, but Atletico had other plans.
