Arsenal defender broke his silence on the agony of missing the start of Scotland ’s Euros campaign on Monday and is refusing to accept that his calf injury will keep him out of the crunch clash with England at Wembley.
Tierney stayed behind at Scotland’s Middlesbrough training camp on Sunday and Monday as his team-mates were crashing 2-0 to the Czechs, as he used every hour available to him for treatment and rehab.
And the 24-year-old is adamant he’s given himself a shot at Friday’s showdown.He said: “I’m getting better. I trained today, I’ll train tomorrow and the decision will probably be made tomorrow afternoon or even on Friday before the game.
