Arsenal icon Martin Keown reckons Mikel Arteta will have to play Kieran Tierney or risk losing the Scotland star. Since leaving Celtic in 2019, Tierney has been one of the few standouts for the Gunners during bleak back-to-back English Premier League campaigns.
However, Arteta has preferred Nuno Tavares this season who has now started six consecutive leagues games. Tierney's last start for Arsenal came against Crystal Palace on October 18, earning more minutes under Steve Clarke and with the national side rather than his club.
Keown doesn't reckon the 24-year-old will hang about if he is not drafted back into the starting line-up soon.He told talkSPORT said: "I don't know.
