European football's governing body have reacted furiously to plans unveiled by 12 top clubs to create a breakaway Super League.President Aleksander Ceferin held a defiant press conference on Monday where he declared players attached to clubs joining the controversial competition should be blocked from competing in UEFA competitions "as soon as possible".
Such a move would put the likes of Kieran Tierney, Andy Robertson and Scott McTominay in danger of being prevented from representing their country at this summer's Euros.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are among 12 clubs who have confirmed their involvement in the Super League so far.
