Kevin Spacey has been charged with four counts of sexual assault on three men. Claims against the House of Cards actor first surfaced in 2017, with some of them dating back to 1996.

He has previously denied all allegations against him. These alleged incidents took place in London, between March 2005 and August 2008, and in Gloucestershire in April 2013.

Rosemary Ainslie, Head of the CPS Special Crime Division, said: “The CPS has authorised criminal charges against Kevin Spacey, 62, for four counts of sexual assault against three men. “He has also been charged with causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent. The charges follow a review of the evidence gathered by the Metropolitan Police in its investigation. “The Crown Prosecution Service reminds all concerned that criminal proceedings against Mr Spacey are active and that he has the right to a fair trial.” The actor first faced allegations of sexual assault five years ago.

He responded by denying them and came out as gay. Kevin said at the time: "As those closest to me know, in my life I have had relationships with both men and women. "I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man. "I want to deal with this honestly and openly and that starts with examining my own behavior." For the latest showbiz reports and breaking news visit OK!
