Kerry Katona's ex-husband George Kay died after "biting into a ball of cocaine", an inquest held on Tuesday 10 August has heard.The Atomic Kitten singer's ex died age 39 in July 2019 when he collapsed from a seizure at the Holiday Inn hotel in Sutton Weaver, Cheshire.

George was rushed to hospital but was later pronounced dead.Three years on, an inquest held in Warrington has heard there was some dispute about the amount of cocaine seen in George's hotel room the day before he fell ill when police were called to the hotel.

Officers were called to the hotel 12 hours before his death at 9.54pm, following complaints he was seen walking around the corridors "asking for someone to be his friend".
