Ken Rees dead: TV news 'legend' who covered Falklands and Gulf Wars dies

Tributes have been paid to ex-TV news reporter Ken Rees who has died aged 76. The former ITN reporter was regularly on British TV in the 1980s and 90s and had been suffering from cancer, his family said.

Throughout his career, Ken regularly reported from war zones, and his work took him to Lebanon for the country's civil war, as well as the Falklands and the first Gulf War in 1991.
