John Travolta, appeared in more than sixty television and film productions during her high-profile career. After missing out on the role of Emmeline in 1980's The Blue Lagoon to the younger Brooke Shields, Kelly, who was born in Hawaii, decided to change her last name to Preston, aged 16.Her first prominent film roles came in 1985 — first as Marilyn McCauley in romantic comedy teen flick Mischief, then as the beautiful but shallow Deborah Ann Fimple in another teen romantic comedy, Secret Admirer.During the late 80s, Kelly bagged a number of film roles such as SpaceCamp and 52 Pick-Up in 1968, and a year later she featured in Love at Stake and A Tiger’s Tale.In 1998 Kelly portrayed Marnie Mason in Ameican comedy film Twins alongside Danny.
