Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter, actress, author and television personality. She rose to fame in 2002, after winning the first season of American Idol, which earned her a record deal with RCA Records. KELLY Clarkson looked concerned after she filed new legal docs which begged the judge to officially grant her divorce from ex husband Brandon Blackstock.

The latest move comes as the former couple remain entangled in a nasty court battle over issues pertaining to money and custody of their two young children.

On Friday, Kelly’s attorney - celebrity “divorce queen” Laura Wasser - begged the judge to grant the pop star’s request for a divorce more than a year after they first split.

The new docs asked that other issues, such as money and child custody, be hashed out at a later date. She seems to be in a rush to legally be declared single after the duo have been in a tense legal battle with one another - filing multiple lawsuits over their.
