The 18-year-old winger admitted he spoke to Txiki Begiristain, the City Sporting Director, but has yet to speak to Guardiola as he awaits the project in place for him.
Liverpool were also said to be plotting a move for him but the Premier League champions won the race for his signature. The Brazilian youngster signed for City during the summer transfer window for £9million, but won't join until January.
