The couple wed in a lavish ceremony in 2019 but first met in 2006 when David mentored contestants, Katharine included, on American Idol.
The Canadian music producer who is 71, already has five children from previous relationships — daughters Sara, 40, Erin, 38, and Jordan, 34, whom he shared with second wife Rebecca Dyer, and daughters Allison, 50, and Amy, 47, from other prior relationships.
A rep has confirmed their little arrival to People and said: ‘Katharine McPhee and David Foster have welcomed a healthy baby boy. ‘Mom, Dad and son are all doing wonderfully.’ Actress
