Kate Winslet has once again voiced her regrets over working with controversial directors Woody Allen and Roman Polanksi. Having defended her decision to star in their movies around the time of the #MeToo movement, the Ammonite actress has now opened up about how she really feels about her involvement in their films.
Speaking to the Irish Times this week, Kate admitted she will always ‘grapple’ with the regret of signing up to their projects acknowledging that she did so because roles in their movies were ‘heavily coveted’ at the time. ‘It’s just unbelievable to me now that those men have been held in such high regard in this industry, and for such a long time,’ she explained.
