During the first UK lockdown in March 2020, Kate’s beloved husband Derek Draper, 53, was rushed to hospital after contracting the deadly virus.
Derek has since been cleared of Covid, but the virus has left extensive damage to his organs, and he still remains incredibly ill one year later.
The former lobbyist and author has been unable to gain consciousness from his induced coma and is still currently in intensive care.
