KATE Garraway is set to pay a heartfelt tribute to "breath taking" nurses at The Sun's Who Cares Wins Awards on Sunday night.

The Good Morning Britain presenter gave at update on her husband Derek Draper's health as she paid the sincere tribute to NHS staff.

At the star-studded awards ceremony, which will be shown on Channel 4 on Sunday night, Kate, 54, took the opportunity to thank nurses across the UK.

Hostess Davina McCall welcomed the telly presenter to the stage, saying: "We now turn out attention to nurses to present the award for Best Nurse.
