In a final episode many fans, including Piers Morgan, branded "underwhelming", Buckells was hauled into an AC-12 interview room in which he repeated "no comment" to Ted Hastings' questioning.
Eventually, Buckells admitted his involvement after being offended at the suggestion he was a "blundering fool". Responding to the reveal on Good Morning Britain today, Kate said that she was "so excited" about the finale but hadn't been able to watch it because she had suffered a power cut.
