Jose Mourinho believes Carlo Ancelotti will land silverware for Everton if the Italian is given time. Ancelotti, appointed in December 2019, has the Merseyside club above Spurs and just three points off the Premier League ’s top four with two games in hand.
The 61-year-old, one of just three bosses to have won a hat-trick of Champions Leagues, has raised Everton ’s profile, transformed star striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin and has two of his former players - Allan and James Rodriguez - providing a big influence on the current Toffees side.
