Tottenham fired Jose Mourinho on Monday with the team just five points off the top four in the Premier League and with a Carabao Cup final on the horizon.

Much was made of Mourinho's near-£34million compensation package, with various reports suggesting it would cost an incredible amount for them to part ways with the Portuguese coach.
However, according to various reports, Mourinho will miss out on £14m from his original compensation package. Mourinho is set to rake in £16m from Spurs, with part of his compensation fee slashed due to the team's poor league position.
