John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, singer, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008), and has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor, among other accolades. He is regarded as one of the world's biggest film stars. Depp made his film debut in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street (1987–1990). He had a supporting role in Oliver Stone's 1986 war film Platoon and played the title character in the 1990 romantic fantasy Edward Scissorhands.

Johnny Depp’s ex Kate Moss set to testify over claims he ‘pushed her down the stairs’ at Amber Heard trial today

JOHNNY Depp's ex-girlfriend Kate Moss is set to testify in court today about claims he once pushed her down a flight of stairs.

The British supermodel will be a surprise witness called by the Pirates Of The Caribbean star as his his $100million defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard wraps up.

Depp is suing Heard for $50million (£40million) over an article in which she claimed she was a victim of abuse. But the 35-year-old star of the Aquaman films has countersued for $100million.

Moss, 48, is expected to appear at the court in Virginia, US, via video link, according to sources close to Depp. She will likely be asked about a rumoured incident in the 1990s when she was dating Depp, in which he allegedly pushed her down the stairs.
