John Travolta discusses his experience with grief in Esquire interview

msn.comEsquire Spain. The actor, 67, lost his 'beautiful wife' in July 2020 after she died of breast cancer at the age of 57 following a two-year battle with the disease.
John and Kelly's lives had already been overshadowed by tragedy when their 16-year-old son Jett died after a seizure at a Bahamas holiday home in 2009.
Speaking about his experiences of grief, the actor said that mourning is 'personal' and that it is important for others not to 'complicate' it with their own.
John told the May 2021 issue of the publication: 'I have learned that mourning someone, mourning, is personal. Mourning is individual and experiencing your own journey is what can lead to healing. 'This is different from someone else's journey.
