After three years of learning his trade alongside one of the most highly-rated English coaches around, John Terry is ready for management.
The 40-year-old handed in his notice to Aston Villa announced Terry’s departure in a statement on Monday with immediate effect, just three weeks before the start of the 2021-22 Premier League season.
There was no ambiguity about what lies ahead in Terry’s career. “My immediate plan is to spend some quality time with my family and, thereafter, hopefully take up some invitations to visit clubs and managers around Europe to develop my aim and objective of becoming a manager,” he said.
