Trevor Sinclair believes John Stones has done his chances of working his way back into Pep Guardiola’s plans no harm as he feels his way back into the Manchester City side.
The defender was handed his first domestic appearance of the season on Saturday as he started the 2-0 win over Burnley, partnering Aymeric Laporte at the heart of the defence.
He then got the chance to reunite with Ruben Dias in the second half, having developed a strong partnership with the Portuguese last season on the way to the Premier League title and Champions League final.
