John Boyega was reported on Twitter for a tweet he shared while speaking out against racism. The Star Wars actor, 28, recently sparked a reaction on social media, after he was seen unapologetically venting his frustration over racism in reference to George Floyd – a black man who died after being handcuffed and pinned down by a white police officer’s knee.
He clarified that he was specifically talking about ‘white on black racism’ which sparked a debate on Twitter, with some people taking offence.
John strongly defended his comments, insisting that he wouldn’t tolerate any form of racism directed towards him or others online, but it seems while doing so, one user decided to report his tweets.
