Manchester United owner Joel Glazer has reportedly taken a firm stance over the club's pursuit of Jadon Sancho, refusing to pay Borussia Dortmund 's €120m (£108m) asking price.
According to a report from the Athletic, Glazer is reluctant to pay the fee plus Sancho's wages and commission payments. United have been affected financially by the ongoing coronavirus, losing between £4m and £5m for each game played behind closed doors.
With fans not able to return to Old Trafford until October at the earliest, the club have enacted a £140m credit facility from Bank of America to offset their losses.
