Joe Exotic
Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.
Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

‘Joe Exotic’ Peacock Series Casts Dean Winters as Jeff Lowe

Joe Otterson TV ReporterDean Winters has joined the “Joe Exotic” series at Peacock in the role of Jeff Lowe.Fans of the hit Netflix docuseries “Tiger King” will recall that Lowe became Exotic’s business partner and ally in his fight against Carole Baskin before eventually turning on him.Winters is the latest addition to the already stacked cast of “Joe Exotic.” He joins previously announced series leads Kate McKinnon, who will play Baskin, and John Cameron Mitchell, who will play Exotic.

It was also recently announced that Brian Van Holt will play John Reinke, Sam Keeley will play John Finlay, Natt Wolff will play Travis Maldonado, and Dennis Quaid will play Rick Kirkham.Winters is no stranger to Peacock audiences, as he currently appears.
