CHANNEL 4 documentary 60 Days with the Gypsies has prompted viewers to turn on comedian Jimmy Carr over his recent Holocaust remarks.
A decade ago, Big Fat Gypsy Weddings became one of the biggest ratings hits in Channel 4 history, pulling in nine-million viewers and courting claims that it misrepresented travellers.

Tweeting about the two-part programme ahead of broadcast, Ed said: "There have been a handful of gypsy shows. “But none that have tried to get underneath the skin of the real issues for Romany Gypsies and Irish Travellers - it’s not as simple as it seems." Several people who tuned in to watch the first episode took the opportunity to make jibes at comedian and TV host Jimmy Carr.
