Musician, songwriter and producer Jim Steinman – best known for his work with Meat Loaf – has died. He was 73.Speaking to Associated Press, his brother Bill Steinman confirmed that the musician had died of kidney failure on Monday after a period of illness, saying: “I miss him a great deal already”.Steinman and Meat Loaf came to prominence together with the latter’s debut album ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ in 1977 – both having met while working in musical theatre.
