St Mirren have shown bravery to knock back Hibs’ offers for Kyle Magennis. The Buddies are braced to battle to keep their club captain ahead of the transfer window slamming shut on Monday, having rejected two “substantial” offers already from the Edinburgh side.
Ex-Saints boss Jack Ross is hoping to lure the academy graduate to Easter Road before the window closes, having already persuaded Magennis’ former teammate Paul McGinn to make the same move in January.
St Mirren manager Goodwin is adamant the 22-year-old will not be making the move along the M8 until the time is right for him and the club.
