Jet2 issues 'urgent customer notice' to holidaymakers with flights booked

Jet2 has issued an 'urgent customer notice' over a new scam targeting holidaymakers. The budget airline sent out an alert on social media this week after receiving worrying reports of fake accounts contacting passengers about their bookings.

Posting on Jet2's official Twitter, the operator warned customers not to share personal details with any unverified accounts without the 'blue tick'.

Jet2 wrote: "URGENT CUSTOMER NOTICE. We have been made aware of several customers receiving messages advising to contact @jet2helps.com (and/or similar) to discuss bookings & queries."These accounts are NOT affiliated to us, so please DO NOT give personal information/data to them (1/2).
