Jennifer Lopez has finally revealed the origin of her famous nickname, JLo. “J. Lo came from Heavy D,” the two-time Grammy nominee spilled to “World of Dance” judges Ne-Yo and Derek Hough on Tuesday’s episode, according to Us Weekly.
The 50-year-old actress and pop music icon continued: “Remember Heavy D, the rapper? "He would come into the studio when I was making my first album, and he would always call me Jenny Lo,” she added of the late emcee and producer.
