The New Yorker is parting ways with staff writer Jeffrey Toobin after an internal investigation over his now-infamous Zoom incident, in which he reportedly exposed himself to colleagues when he thought the camera was off.
In a statement, a spokesperson for theCondé Nast publication told The Hollywood Reporter: “As a result of our investigation, Jeffrey Toobin is no longer affiliated with the company.” Toobin, who is also a CNN legal analyst, tweeted Wednesday afternoon that "I was fired today by [The New Yorker] after 27 years as a staff writer.
