Jarvis Cocker has confirmed that Pulp will return for a string of reunion shows next year. The singer revealed the news at a Q&A session for his new memoir Good Pop, Bad Pop.
It follows a 15-second clip shared on Cocker's Instagram recently that featured the question: "What exactly do you do for an encore?" The line is taken from the title track of This Is Hardcore, the band's 1998 album.
Cocker captioned the clip "Good question... #overtoyou" leaving fans to speculate. It was finally confirmed at the Guardian -hosted event when the singer said: "It was deliberately cryptic. "Next year Pulp are going to play some concerts."Nick Banks also shared that more news about the shows was expected to follow soon.
Taking to Twitter, the band's drummer said: "Hey folks, unsurprisingly it’s has all gone a bit mental on here."Gig details will be revealed as and when.
