Jamie Carragher has admitted he "quite likes" the fact Richarlison has hit back at him after the Everton ace took aim at the Liverpool legend on Twitter.The Brazilian struck the second goal in the Toffees' stunning 3-2 comeback win over Crystal Palace on Thursday night to secure the club's top-flight status.
The 25-year-old levelled the contest with 15 minutes to go before Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck the winner in a memorable night at Goodison Park.A fired-up Richarlison then took to Twitter to fire a shot at Carragher, writing: “Wash your mouth before you talk about me and Everton and I don't respect you,” before ending his message with a poo emoji.
The Liverpool legend has since addressed the dig, admitting that he welcomes such a passionate reaction.In response to Richarlison's post, Carragher revealed he "actually quite likes" the fact the Everton forward took to social media to hit back at him and admitted he would likely have done the same.
He wrote: "I actually quite like this, if Twitter was about when I was a player I’m sure I would’ve called pundits out quite a lot!!"It remains to be seen exactly what provoked such a reaction from Richarlison, however the Sky Sports pundit recently slammed the Toffees forward for his antics during last month's Merseyside derby.
