Former Liverpool centre-back Jamie Carragher has opened up on what life was like in the England squad at the time of his involvement with the national team, insisting there was never any bad blood between Liverpool's and Manchester United's players.
Over the years, it was claimed that when England squad got together for international matches there was a sense of separation between the players, with those called up opting to mainly hang around with their own club-mates.
It was often reported that United's England contingent would stick together in one group, Chelsea's the same, with both those from the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool also following suit.
