Paul, who is 2-0 in the sport with wins over fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib and retired NBA star Nate Robinson, branded McGregor a "chicken" for deciding to fight Dustin Poirier in a highly anticipated rematch at UFC 257 instead of facing him.
McGregor has not directly responded to Paul but, in an interview with Bloomberg, the Irishman was asked about the 24-year-old's recent win over Robinson. "If they are fighting well then it can't make a mockery of fighting," McGregor replied. "They're getting in and competing.
