Manchester City star Jack Grealish and Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson posed alongside each other ahead of their Premier League showdown.

One of City or Liverpool will claim the title on Sunday (May 22) but while they may be rivals come the weekend, Grealish and Henderson put their club allegiances aside to get behind a brand new grassroots football campaign this week. The pair were joined by England forward Beth Mead, former City defender Micah Richards and ex-Team GB and England Cerebral Palsy captain Jack Rutter at the launch of McDonald’s Fun Football programme, which will be the largest participation programme in the UK.Over 1million children will benefit from free football sessions taking place in parks and playgrounds in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales across the next four years.

In total, more than 10.5million hours of coaching will be delivered.Explaing his involvement, Grealish, 26, said: “I’m a firm believer that football should be for everyone and that’s why I wanted to get involved with the McDonald’s Fun Football programme.

Accessibility in sport is something that is close to me personally."I have first-hand experience of how sport can benefit those with additional needs, and it is so important that we get behind programmes that increase the opportunities for every child to play and enjoy football. What's your prediction for the final day of the season?
