Love Island star Jack Fincham has given an update on his mental health after being open about his struggles last year. The reality show winner confessed to struggling with "not wanting to be here" while dealing with money issues and loneliness to podcaster James English earlier this year.However, Jack, 29, has turned his life around and is now putting his all into his upcoming celebrity boxing match and is positive about the future.When asked if boxing had helped him with his mental health, Jack agreed that it has helped him out of his slump.He told the Daily Star: "100%, you feel like you've achieved something.
Training especially for me, for my mental health, is absolutely amazing."It's no secret I've struggled with my mental health in the past but boxing training has genuinely been like a saviour, honestly, and it makes me feel good every single day."It was just a build-up of loads of different years, I've covered them loads of times, but now I am in the best place I have been in years."Boxstar Celebrity Boxing is set to host a big celebrity fight night at The O2 on April 2.Jack is keen to spread the word that he is training non-stop and wants for people to take his talent seriously, after boxing for years.The TV star looks amazing in recent snaps and agrees that he is not only looking good but feeling good as well.When asked how seriously he has taken his boxing training, he said that he had even ditched bad habits such as boozing and late nights to help him focus.Jack said: "I stopped that a while back now - drinking and partying is out of the question."But I've got such supportive people around me - they know we are going out for a meal, not a club.
