Emmerdale has a delicious side hustle selling Lebanese food - to his fellow stars and even a famous footballer.Hussein Dehaini, who is often an extra on the hit rural soap, works in the family business called Tyros in Stockport, Cheshire when he’s not on screen.
Tyros was started by Hussein’s parents Adnan and Faten and is said to be one of the best takeaways in town. In fact, the Manchester Evening News described it as “uniformly marvellous”.
Regular customers also include Man United left-back Luke Shaw and Chris Chittell, who plays Eric Pollard on the ITV soap, and his wife Brenda Walker, who plays Lesley Dunlop.They come in once a month, the MEN reports, to sample the changing menu with treats such as chicken stew with cashew nuts, shawarma and spicy sausage kebab.
The family have owned Tyros since coming to the UK in 2006 and the mouth-watering recipes they use have been passed down from generation to generation.
