ITV has responded following fan backlash towards Love Island for airing the explosive row between Faye Winter and Teddy Soares this week.

On Friday 6 August's instalment of the hit ITV dating programme, Faye, 26, was branded "childish" by Teddy, also 26, for pulling the middle finger on him.The pair came head to head throughout the evening, with the blonde beauty shouting swear words at the financial consultant after claiming he lied to her about his antics with Clarisse Juliette, 24, in Casa Amor.The episode eventually ended with Faye telling Teddy they're over for good after insisting: "I know what I'm worth," before Teddy then slung her ring back to her.
