Coronation Street star Jude Riordon has defended his latest social media post thanks to its 'Manchester' tone. The young actor is best known for playing Sam Blakeman on the ITV soap.

Ten-year-old Jude took to Instagram and Twitter as he headed back to work on the cobbles this week. Posing on the famous set, the youngster was keeping warm in a big blue ITV-branded puffer jacket. "All done and back to school for me." But Jude ended up following up his initial tweet with another, explaining his use of 'them cobbles' after it was flagged by some of his followers.
