Mancs will have to wait a few more days before they can dust off their sunnies. Weather forecaster WXCharts predicts that the mercury will reach 18C in parts of the UK due to a blast of hot air from the Atlantic before climbing to above 20C.
Areas of the north and south east could enjoy highs of 22C, the Mirror reports. But before the sun makes an appearance, the country will be lashed by yet more torrential downpours and thunderstorms today and throughout this week.
