An 18-year-old who survived the Manchester Arena attack has spoken of the 'strange ups and downs' of life after the bomb on the three year anniversary of the atrocity.
Adam Lawler was with his best friend Olivia Campbell-Hardy when a bomb was detonated, killing 22 innocent people on May 22, 2017.
Olivia, 15, who went to Tottington High School in Bury with Adam, tragically lost her life. In an interview on BBC Radio 6 Music, Adam spoke of the moments before the bomb went off.
He said: "I remember a very nice concert, I'd not been to many concerts beforehand and I'd always considered Ariana Grande a bit of a guilty pleasure".
