Irish musician Kehli won’t ‘stop the battle’ to bring female voices to the fore

‘I’m not going to stop the battle to get my music out there,’ Kehli, aka Kelly Irwin, states fiercely as she knows that being a woman in the music industry isn’t easy.

She’s faced her fair share of disappointment and uphill battles to get to where she is in her career now. The 20-year-old has been chasing her dream of stardom since the tender age of four.

The Dublin native jokes that she has always been ‘a stage school kid’ and originally dreamed of making a name for herself on the West End stage, with the role on her vision board being, once upon a time, Elphaba from the hit musical Wicked.
