But the intense coverage has seemingly brought closure to the family of a man from Texas who went missing in Wyoming in August, the New York Post reports.
The last trace of Robert Lowery, 46, was reportedly a ping from his cellphone in the city of Jackson. Mr Lowery was last seen on video at a restaurant in Jackson Hole Mountain.
