He told how playing the flamboyant Stanford next to Sarah Jessica Parker had girls queueing up - to be his best friend. He said: “At the beginning, you would approach someone at a bar and realize, ‘Oh, they want to be Stanford’s best friend.’ “They don’t necessarily want to sleep with you.” The star once confessed he even enjoyed a few dates with star of SATC Sarah Jessica Parker before the show aired.
