THE mystery of how ITV bosses have shifted I’m A Celebrity from Australia to Wales has been revealed in images of the show’s transformed new home.

Gwrych Castle is now unrecognisable from the derelict building they started working on earlier this year, when it was confirmed that Covid would force them to film the show in the UK.

Taking inspiration from its former Aussie jungle location, producers have designed a communal area with a fire as the main focal point for the camp.

Celebrities will then be taken to different areas to tackle the various tasks. The only difference is that health and safety means they will be provided with warm, dry living quarters — but the accommodation is still expected to be far from luxurious.
